At the threshold of a new season, The Waters Within invites you to encounter the element of water as a mirror of your inner world: your emotions, intuition, sensuality, creativity, and capacity to change.
Through a guided Painting Journey, you will give color and form to what is moving beneath the surface. Then, supported by intention, presence, and conscious choice, you will meet the glasswalk — not as a test of force, but as a crossing into a new relationship with what you once believed was impossible.
This is the first portal in Seasons of Self, Cosmica’s four-part journey through the elements and the turning seasons.

Meet your guides
Marcela Starflower
Marcela Starflower is a Miami-based transformational artist and the founder of Cosmica. Each of her paintings began as a personal Painting Journey — a process through which she explored her inner world, participated in her own healing, and gave form to the future self she was becoming. Working through color, symbolism, feminine energy, and intuitive expression, Marcela creates portals into remembrance and possibility. Her art is both the record of a transformation and an invitation for others to encounter something awakening within themselves.
Mishawn Mielke
An empowerment artist with a background in engineering, a Toltec apprenticeship, and Warrior Heart facilitation, Mishawn blends the scientific and spiritual to guide others toward self-discovery. She brings years of experience holding safe, intentional space for transformational crossings.

Journey Timeline
Welcome to the Circle & The Water Element
Arrive, settle into the space, and meet the circle. We will open the journey by setting personal intentions and connecting with water as the element of emotion, intuition, renewal, and flow.
The Waters Within Painting Journey — Part One
Guided by Marcela Starflower, we begin an intuitive Painting Journey inspired by our inner waters. Through color, movement, and symbolism, participants will explore what is ready to move, soften, be released, or renewed. No painting experience is required.
Water Crystallography Exploration
✨ A Moment of Wonder
Each participant will prepare and briefly freeze water in a Petri dish. Together, we will observe the crystalline forms revealed in the ice and explore the possibility that water interacts with intention and information.
Integration & Reflection
Through guided reflection, awareness, and meditation, you will begin integrating the message of your painting and recognizing the inner shift taking place.
Crossing the Bed of Glass
The journey culminates in a guided walk across broken glass, facilitated by two certified Sundoor Firewalk Instructors. The glass walk is an embodied encounter with awareness, presence, choice, and trust. Participation is always your choice.
Celebration & Closing
We close the journey together, honoring what has been revealed, released, and reclaimed—and welcoming the approaching Fall Equinox with renewed intention.
